Who we are?

Tri-Anagram is a company established to do skills development and training, business services and administration, addressing the skills end employment shortages in the South African economy.

Established in 1982, Tri-Anagram has been providing training in South Africa for over thirty-five years.  In 2006 Tri-anagram was Provisionally Accredited with Services Seta.    Full Provider status was granted to the company by the Services Seta in 2008.  In 2017, and the company was repositioned to cater for the demand for scarce skills identified in various industries, adding to the portfolio of courses on which the success of the company has been built.

The company previously specialised in Supervisory, Management and Leadership Development.  The programmes made use of Simulation-Based Methodology which continues to be used in all training programmes offered.  Our flagship leadership development programmes, First Line, Top Line and Action Leadership created a sound foundation for the company.

The company has also branched out into the engineering industry, with extension of scope granted by the Merseta for full qualifications and skill programmes, incorporating Simulation-Based Methodology.   The technical training is offered on a fully equipped manufacturing facility site to ensure that our students do not only get top quality theoretical training, but have access to work integrated learning.  Our Nail and Beauty training is offered at a fully equipped nail and beauty facility, with internationally qualified training manager.

Director and Shareholder

Having completed BCom, LLB, MBA degrees, she earned a Doctorate in Business Administration in 2013 with her dissertation on “The effectiveness of the Learnership Programmes in the Freight Forwarding Industry”. She has completed various other local and international training programmes and certificates.

Maria has been involved in operations and business development for a major logistics company at an executive and director level for more than forty years, bringing a wealth of business and organisational experience to the company. She has been actively involved in establishing a culture of learning and training in the company she is still working in and has been instrumental in the registration of a training academy within the company. She has also been involved in the learnership programmes since inception into the industry. She has gained invaluable experience into the selection, induction and ongoing support to deliver successful graduates at the end of the programme. She actively participates in skills development, mentoring, enterprise and supplier development initiatives within her organisation and industry through industry bodies and training institutions, including institutions of higher learning. She is a member of the Academic Advisory Board of the Industrial Engineering Faculty of the University of Pretoria.

General Manager

Charles Dey, who is running the day-to-day operations of the company, has a wealth of experience in the skills development and training industry.

Following a 19-year career in freight forwarding operations, in 1994 Charles became the first Executive Director of the Clearing and Forwarding Sector of the Maritime Industry Training Board (later to become incorporated into the Transport SETA).

He led the teams responsible for building and registering the unit standards- based qualification structure for South Africa’s forwarding industry on the National Qualifications Framework.

Charles pioneered the world’s first provider to offer eLearning based training towards the Diploma in International Forwarding offered by the industry world body, the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA).

Bidvest Panalpina Logistics (BPL) Academy was started and accredited by Charles. In 2014 he mentored BPL employee Fortunate Mboweni, who became the first Africa born African to win the prestigious FIATA International Young Freight Forwarder of the Year Award.

He was appointed Head of Professional Development: Supply Chain Management at the IMM Graduate School in 2015.

He serves as the Education and Training Development Director on the South African National Council of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and Chairman, Logistics Achiever of the Year Awards Judge’s Committee.

When not thus occupied, Charles may be found in the Johannesburg Zoo where he is a volunteer tour guide.

Mankgo provides full-time administration support to the company on a daily basis. She is responsible for all accreditation related matters, which includes application for new programmes in line with company vision and strategy, monitoring of existing accreditation, and all other QAP related matters.

Mankgo is a recent graduate in BTech Metallurgical Engineering from the Tshwane University of Technology. She has over the years acquired experience in the training and skills development sector. Her experience ranges from Learnership coordination, SETA accreditation applications, Grants applications, WSP/ATR compilation and submission and Skills development facilitation

Completing both National and International Diplomas in Somatology by 2001 was only the beginning for this driven training co-ordinator and all-rounder in the company. She has an intense passion to help develop and improve those around her on a mental and physical level to empower them to become the best version of themselves. She took this passion Internationally to acquire the best experience and knowledge in her field and brought it back home to start her own business and product range. With 17 years of experience in her field, she is actively involved in the company to start up an exciting new division in the skills development program for nails and beauty to deliver successful graduates at the end of the programme. She is also actively involved in all the other training programmes, sourcing and connecting facilitators and learners to deliver successful graduates and business owners at the end of the program in line with the company vision and mission.
